Little City Montessori
The Kerstman family approached us to help create a brand identity that would attract little learners and their parents to their new Montessori School and event space in Philadelphia.
We put our full-service branding capabilities to the test through the creation of environmental signage, animation, web design, and marketing collateral.
logo design
Our goal was for each part of the brand to be reflective of the spirit and strength of the Little City community. The central mark was inspired by the lively script of primary school cursive lessons.
event space identity
On the weekends, Little City transforms into an event space for children to have fun, learn, and explore through classes and activities.
We created a mark to identify this service and reach audiences outside of LCM's Montessori community.
Illustration
Little City needed an illustrative style that reflected the joy and energy of its students.
We created a system of geometric construction paper shapes that feel perfectly playful, yet have the modern sensibilities of the rest of the brand.Creating this minimal system allowed us to evoke the feeling of a student and teachers, children playing, or serve more functional purposes like highlighting the school's location all while maintaining efficient brand consistency.
environmental design
We carried the LCM brand through their school and activity center with murals, signage, and a good old fashioned fresh coat of paint.
Web Design
Little City needed a fully branded site to engage with prospective parents, advertise their classes, and field prospective admissions.
We came through with a custom web presence with all of the functionality they needed and some extra special touches.
print design
We created plenty of print materials including acceptance letters, handouts, and billboards.
Collateral
If you didn’t get a tote, did it really happen?
We created some merch for the LCM community to rep their school in style, including this particularly dashing bag.
We continue to work with Little City Montessori on their social media channels, creating content to connect with and inform their community.
