When Jason and Lauren of Douglass Candies came to us, they wanted to bring new life to their family’s iconic brand without losing the charm that made it so special. Working closely together, we revisited over a century of visual history, refining familiar elements like the beloved Scottie dog and signature plaid into a cohesive, timeless identity that honors the past while making room for the future.

We brought the refreshed identity to life through a playful, easy-to-shop ecommerce experience that captures the charm of visiting Douglass Candies in person. From browsing handmade favorites to building custom candy boxes, every detail was designed to make shopping simple and inviting. Archival photography, nostalgic details, and colorful product imagery weave the family’s story throughout, bringing a little piece of Wildwood to customers wherever they are.

Building on the refreshed brand, we carried familiar elements like the signature plaid, nostalgic typography, and Scottie dog into a playful new experience. From ice cream cups, to a custom boardwalk stand, and a website experience- every detail was designed to feel distinctly Douglass while giving the Creamery a personality of its own.
