label designs
Mural City Cellars is a Philadelphia-based urban winery and bottle shop rooted in community, craft, and minimal-intervention winemaking using locally sourced grapes.
They came to us seeking a thoughtful brand refresh and packaging system- something cohesive, elevated, and enduring- that could grow alongside their expanding vision.

We began by evolving Mural City Cellars’ brand from the ground up- starting with color, typography, and refined brand marks.
At the heart of the system is “Mural Yellow,” a chartreuse hero shade that’s both fresh and unmistakable. This punchy yellow adds vibrancy and visibility, anchoring a palette designed to feel modern, warm, and expressive. Together with bold type and a flexible layout system, the refreshed brand brings clarity, cohesion, and energy to every touchpoint.

As the brand expands, it’s been a joy to see the system flex across touchpoints while staying bold, fresh, and unmistakably MCC.
The House Wines called for a friendlier, more accessible feel- bold, graphic, and immediately recognizable on the shelf. In contrast, the Artist Series celebrates local collaboration and artistic expression. These labels lean more elevated and refined, giving space for featured artwork while maintaining a consistent brand presence through typography, color accents, and strong hierarchy.

ongoing collaboration
Whether it’s a flyer for a tasting night or a social post about a new release, every piece feels fun, intentional, and true to the neighborhood spirit at the heart of the brand.

Thank you Nicholas, Francesca, and Katie for the collaboration and trust!
